Learning piano will give your child a head start in life
You can teach the piano to children from age 3 onwards using the Dogs and Birds method. It is not necessary to know the alphabet.

Dogs and Birds Teachers’ Course to be Held in Bakewell, UK on 23 August 2024
A Dogs and Birds Teachers’ Course given by Elza and Chris Lusher (creators of the Dogs and Birds Piano Method), entitled “Teaching Piano to 3-7 Year Olds” will take place at The Medway Centre, New Street, Bakewell, Derbyshire, DE45 1DY on Friday 23rd August 2024.
The course will cover all aspects of the Dogs and Birds approach, including group teaching and the seamless transition to conventional music. Also include with the course is one year’s access to our online Teachers’ Course (an over 5 hour introduction to the method) and 91 Puppet Videos (16 hours of video on learning with Dogs and Birds Book 1), to which reference will be made.
This course is aimed at piano and music teachers. The cost is £130, if the application is received by 2nd August 2024, and £140 after that.
Early booking is advisable, the course being limited to 20 delegates.
