Dogs and Birds Teachers’ Course – Teaching Piano to Children Aged 3 to 7 (Elza and Chris Lusher)

This course will take place at The Medway Centre, New Street, Bakewell, Derbyshire, DE45 1DY on Friday 23rd August 2024. It will take place from 9.30 am to 4.30 pm (with a 1 hour lunch break).
This course will include:
- Live piano lessons with Elza, with students under 5.
- A summary of the Dogs and Birds approach, including fingering, notation (use of Animal and Blank Books), rhythm and pulse, improvisation, ear training, the switch to conventional material, and how to continue with singing after finishing the tutor books.
Also included with this in-person course is online access to two courses (worth £69.65), to which reference will be made:
- One year’s access to the Dogs and Birds Online Teachers’ Course (containing more than 5 hours of detailed explanation with child demos).
- One years’ access to the 91 Puppet Videos (containing over 16 hours of video on learning with Dogs and Birds Book 1, with many tips and hints on teaching and acting as an aid to children’s practice sessions).
This course is limited to a maximum of 20 delegates.
